Hong Kong to launch Asia's first Gay Games on Friday

The Hong Kong Gay Games are being held under the theme of "Diversity. Unity. Inclusion." Organizers say they hope the event will help to raise awareness of LGBTQ+ rights in Asia, and to create a more inclusive and welcoming society for all.

The Gay Games will open with a ceremony at Victoria Park on Friday evening. The event will then run for nine days, with competitions taking place at venues across Hong Kong. The Games will close with a ceremony at the Hong Kong Coliseum on November 11.

The Hong Kong Gay Games are expected to be a major event for the LGBTQ+ community in Asia. They are also a significant opportunity for Hong Kong to showcase its diversity and inclusiveness.
